Vikingeborgen Trelleborg

Vikingeborgen Trelleborg (Trelleborg Allé 4, Slagelse) – located an hour’s drive south of Copenhagen, this is another Viking theme park.  In a scenic area, you will find the remains of one of the Vikings’ big castles, built around the year 980 AD.  At the museum you can see some of the many discoveries that were made during the excavation and learn more about the castle and its function.  Films, models, archaeological finds and reconstructions will give you a vivid impression of Trelleborg’s history.  Admission:  70 DKK (Adult), Free for children under 18.  Hours:  10 am – 4 pm daily.  See its website for more info:  www.vikingeborg.dk
